This 1/3 HP stainless steel washdown duty electric motor is a three phase, 1800 RPM alternating current (AC) motor. Washdown duty electric motors are manufactured using 304-grade stainless steel frame, bracket, junction box, and shaft. What sets this washdown duty 1/3 horsepower electric motor apart from others is the double-lipped seals with an additional shaft slinger on the drive end, O-rings on end-bells to eliminate moisture, and the industry leading 1.15 service factor. Specifically, this 1/3 horsepower electric motor is totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) which means it can hold up in dusty and outdoor environments and has a IP56 rating. The voltage on this electric motor comes in rated at 208-230/460. The stainless steel electric motor also has a rigid base.
