This C2042 chain is manufactured in accordance to ANSI B29.1 standards dimensionally. Basically meaning that it will directly interchange with a multitude of brands and manufactures. It is also factory pre-stretched which means lower elongation over the life of the chain, additionally, all of our ANSI roller chains are shipped with a high-quality lubricant. Other common industry terms for C2042 roller chain are; C2042 conveyor chain or C2042 oversized roller chain. This is due to the large rollers that extend past the side plates on the chain.
