This chain guide is a mounted style meaning that it uses a steel mounting channel, specifically the Type-CKG 15V #35 chain guide uses a C15V profile. We keep C15V profile mounting channels in stock in galvanized, non galvanized, and stainless steel materials. Using a roller chain guide is common in most conveying applications where you don't want metal-on-metal contact for wear purposes.
