This UCP212-36 Bearing is a premium quality and heavy duty pillow block bearing that has a 2-1/4" bore. A few things that sets this bearing apart are; solid base, SAE 52100 bearing seal inner and outer ring, wide inner ring, steel retainer, anti-rotation device installed, seal with flinger, set screws at 120 degrees, and annealed setscrew ports.




This UCP212-36 Bearing has a solid base, this greatly increases the housing strength of the bearing.



SAE 52100 seals are better and have a longer service life than the typical/ cheaper steel on the inner ring, while the wide inner ring reduces cocking and further increases the bearing life. This bearing uses a steel retainer which provides an increased thermal and fatigue resistance versus the cheaper plastic retainer used by other manufactures. The anti-rotating device that is installed keeps the bearing from spinning in the housing while allowing for self aligning at the same time. Using a seal with flinger that spins with the inner ring creates a labyrinth to keep contaminates out. Installing the set screws at 120 degrees balance the internal forces on the inner ring, which helps retain roundness of the inner ring. Annealed setscrew ports on a UCP212-36 bearing eliminates cracking of the inner-ring in this area and improves the thread grip.
