Fractional Horse Power 2L V-Belts

Classic 2L-Series V-Belts are one of the oldest styles of V-Belts in the industry and are commonly referred to as fractional horsepower (FHP) belts because they are used on motors that are 1HP or less. They are designated as 2L belts because they have a top-width of 1/4", it is the smallest "standard" v-belt. Because of their long-term success and economical operation, they continue to be one of the most widely used belt series in the industry. The premium 2L-series v-belts we supply are manufactured under ISO 9001 specifications, are oil and heat resistant, and directly interchange with other brands. They are constructed of a natural rubber compound with polyester cords and use a cotton with a polyester blend for a high durability cover. 2L series belts are used in most general and light-duty industrial applications along with Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, lawn and garden equipment, and agricultural equipment. We also stock a complete line of high-power Kevlar v-belts along with the accompanying v-belt pulleys/ sheaves.

Note: These belts conform to ARPM standard IP20 as well as our line of V-belt pulleys. Additionally, standard operating temperatures range from -1° through +158° Farrenheight.
