The #100 roller chain wear gauge is manufactured to extremely high precision tolerances and can be used for #35, #40, #50, #60, #80, and #100 roller chains! This compact tool is the perfect size for carrying on your belt as you walk around your plant! What separates this #100 roller chain wear gauge from the others out there is its extremely simplistic design, ease of use, as well as its economical price tag!*Note: This Wear Gauge can be used with #35 through #100 roller chains. We also offer a larger Wear Gauge that can be used with #120 through #240 roller chains.*
How To Use The #100 Roller Chain Wear Gauge
First, you identify the chain pitch to confirm that you are using this on a #100 roller chain, next you place the chain gauge in-between the roller chain rollers like the image below, it's that simple!
If the chain gauge falls through and goes to the next size up it's time to replace your roller chain. Please note for this example we used ANSI #50 roller chain.
