2Q5V46 Sheave double-groove 4.60" OD

This 2Q5V46 Sheave uses an Q1 bushing, is directly interchangeable with other manufacturers, is 4.60" in diameter, and is manufactured in accordance with ARPM Standards for safe operation. With 5V-series split taper sheaves you can use standard 5V belts, 5VX belts, banded 5V belts, and banded 5XV belts. What separates this 2Q5V46 sheave from the others is that it is made using a high strength cast iron, is phosphate coated, painted, and balanced at the factory. Using the high-strength cast iron grade that we do offers a higher tensile strength and is more wear resistant than the more commonly used grades. While the phosphate coated and then painted finish adds corrosion resistance to the 2Q5V46 sheave. Then, because this sheave is balanced at the factory it runs smoother which gives bearings and other components of the equipment a longer working life. Using a split taper bushed style sheave is beneficial because it makes the completed part a two-piece assembly which means if only one piece breaks you don't have to replace the entire assembly.
