This curved slide 18" screw conveyor rack and pinion gate is made from high-quality 3/16" thickness steel. Rack and pinion slide discharge gates are designed with cut tooth racks that are welded to the curved slide plate, this rack engages with a cut tooth pinion that is mounted onto a shaft and is operated by a handwheel. Curved slides conform with the contour of the trough which eliminates all pockets that might trap the material in a spout above a flat slide. Curved slides can also be operated with the use of chain wheels or power-operated with electric motors, air, or hydraulic cylinders.
