730SC Chain | Collector Chain

730SC chain is made from a high-quality cast material and has a 6" pitch. Commonly, 730SC chain is found in rectangular clarifiers and collectors in wastewater treatment facilities. What separates our 730SC chain from others is the high strength 37,500 LBS tensile strength rating, heat-treated and hardened steel pins, and easy field assembly. Cast steel wastewater chains are among the oldest types of chains and have been used in wastewater treatment facilities since the 1960s. Since then, there has been mild steel chains, stainless steel chains, and finally plastic chains. Treatment facilities using cast chains are typically recommended to upgrade to a non-metallic plastic wastewater chain, but only if the facility has the means to do so and the conditions favor the upgrade.
