However, our #50 roller chain breaker is manufactured right here in The USA using premium quality tool-grade steel. A quality chain breaker makes any chain breaking job easy, this tool is made for long-term multiple usages. Besides the breaker it's self we supply an extra heat-treated tip in the box, so when the breaker eventually needs a new tip you already have one. Not only will our 50 chain breaker break 50-1 single strand roller chain, but it also breaks 50-2 double strand, 50-3 triple strand, and even 50-4 quad strand chains. It also breaks other ANSI and ISO Metric chain sizes ranging from 1/4" pitch up to 3/4" pitch (center of pin to center of pin). 50 Chain Breaker Tip

The tip is an easy part to keep around, this is the part of the tool that takes 95% of the wear and tear. One extra one is supplied in the box but if you are planning on breaking chain on a consistent basis it doesn't hurt having an extra tip or two to ensure you dot have to go without your breaker.

50 Chain Breaker Screw Assembly

The screw assembly is the component that houses the tip and is the part where the handle slides through. Though you shouldn't need one of these for a while, whenever you do it's nice to have an extra one around.
