This reversing (forward/ off/ reverse) 0-180 volt control unit has an alternating current (AC) input of 240 volts, and a direct current (DC) output of 0-180 volts. Utilizing a variable speed DC control makes your application dual voltage and makes it to where you can adjust the horsepower settings and can make DC electric motors work with AC applications. Specifically the horsepower range for this control unit is 1/4 HP - 2.0 HP.
