This farm duty 1/3 HP electric motor is a single phase, 1800 RPM high efficiency alternating current (AC) motor. Though categorized as "farm duty" this motor boasts premium features above and beyond the "standard" that equate to high-quality and durable motor that can boast a 1.15 service factor. Specifically, this 1/3 horsepower electric motor is totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) which means it can hold up in dusty and outdoor environments, it also has an IP54 protection rating. It is a 56C frame size so it will interchange with other manufactures and work on any gearbox that is made to accept that size.
