Description Technical Specs

FSAF 516 housings are designed for some extreme industrial applications; this housing is a split pillow block housing made from cast iron for spherical roller bearings. The split design of a FSAF516 housing allows for easy mounting and maintenance, while the heavy-duty construction permits this bearing to operate in higher-load applications compared to other types. Our FSAF516 bearing is cast from a high-grade cast and is designed with a reinforced webbed base for better heat distribution and prevention of over-tightening. Additionally, the housing features two threaded plugged holes on top for a grease fitting and various testing equipment, while the bottom faces of the housing have a drain plug on each side. FSAF516 housings are commonly found in applications such as; steel mills, queries, and large drive or conveying applications.
