The L225 coupling half with a 2-7/16" bore with a key-way is also commonly called an L225 coupling hub. The compact yet robust design of this 2-7/16" bore L225 coupling half makes it highly versatile across a broad spectrum of applications, including; pumps, blowers, compressors, mixers, motion control (servo), and more!. Depending on the insert type used, a complete L225 coupling assembly is capable of optimal operation with an angular misalignment from 0.5 to 1.0 degrees and a parallel misalignment of 0.10" to 0.15". This advantage is due to the greater radial softness. Additionally, L225 couplings utilize a no metal-on-metal design (excluding bronze inserts), drastically improving their wear life compared to other coupling types.
