Our premium 50 O-Ring roller chain is manufactured to deliver superb performance, strength, and durability compared to other existing chains. 50 o-ring chain is a 5/8" pitch, sealed chain designed for the dirtiest or hardest-to-service applications within the power transmission industry! The 50 o-ring roller chain assembly features high-quality nitrile rubber o-rings placed between the inner and outer link plates. These o-rings seal the internal moving components of the 50 chain, keeping lubrication in while keeping debris out. This feature helps in particularly dirty or dusty applications and where chain re-lubrication is impossible or difficult. A 50 o-ring roller chain lasts twenty times longer than a traditional 50 chain in specific applications. Moving past the o-rings, our premium 50 o-ring chain is precision manufactured from top-quality carbon and alloy steel materials, features solid bushings & rollers, eat-treated and shot peened components, hardened pins, and has been factory pre-loaded. The combination of these features drastically improves life and performance. 50 O-ring roller chain is used in applications such as; agricultural, industrial drives, conveyors, mining, and construction equipment. As a standard, the premium series o-ring chains can operate in temperatures up to 176 degrees Celcius for higher temperature ranges; contact us. Additionally, o-ring chains have a "silencing" effect by decreasing the noise generated from the chain by 3 dB. One important note to keep in mind is if you are swapping out a standard chain for an o-ring chain, there needs to be adequate clearance for the slightly additional width that an o-ring chain has.
