Screw Conveyor Drive Shafts

The purpose of a screw conveyor drive shaft is to transmit the rotary motion from the drive unit to the conveyor screw. To make sure this action is achieved, our screw conveyor driveshafts are manufactured from a select grade of high-quality cold-rolled steel and precision manufactured to tight tolerances to ensure proper fitment of bearings. The keyways (keys) that are placed in drive shafts are cut to transmission standards and the coupling bolt holes are precision jig-drilled to the proper placement and dimensions to accommodate the also jig-drilled pipe. All of these things add up to a screw conveyor drive shaft that is ready for a long working life! We supply these screw conveyor driveshafts with or without end seals depending on the application's needs.
