Screw Conveyor Trough Covers
Screw conveyor covers are placed over the trough then fastened to create a fixed enclosure for the conveyor screws and materials. This provides protection to the material being conveyed as well as protection for work personnel that operates around the conveyor system. We supply weather-resistant and dust-tight seal covered in standard steel, stainless steel, or other materials required for the application at hand. Standard trough cover lengths are; 5ft, 6ft, 10ft, and 12ft for conveyor diameters ranging from 4" up to 24".Barron Flanged Screw Conveyor Trough Cover
The Barron trough cover is designed for double-flanged troughs as well as angle troughs. This cover style is not weather-tight but if the gaskets between the trough and clamps will provide a degree of weather protection. To increase protection, battens can be mounted lapping the cover joints. The Barron cover should be bolted or screw clamped to the trough on close centers to prevent access during operation.

Tite-Seal Trough Covers
This type of trough cover is designed for angle troughs and provides a high degree of dust protection. The flat cover is held securely in place by a continuous formed steel "U" edging along both sides of the trough. The "U" edging is fitted with sponge rubber and seals the trough. Tite-Seal quick-release cover clamps hold the entire assembly in place and yet allow for quick access to the trough interior. A gasket attached to the underside of the cover clamp seals the joint between the lengths of the conveyor, providing dust protection.

Semi-Flanged Trough Covers
The semi-flanged design is a flat trough cover with a slight crimp on both sides for greater strength and rigidity. They have the capability to be fastened by bolts, spring clamps, or screw clamps. They are not considered weatherproof but with the addition of gaskets and battens at the cover joints, a reasonably tight construction can be achieved to provide a slight degree of weather protection.Semi-Flanged Trough Cover Dimensions

Hip Roof Trough Cover
Due to their design, hip-roof covers are intended for outdoor applications, the "roof" angle design provides an easy way for rain and other materials to drain off of the sides rather than collect. The cover is flanged down on both sides and fitted with battens at the cover joints, additionally, rubber gaskets are typically furnished all around. Screw Conveyor Shrouds
