240DC double capacity roller chain is capable of transferring extremely high loads of force to a high degree of efficiency. Our 240DC roller chain is made from high-grade alloy steel that has been precision machined into individually heat-treated components to create a chain capable of operating in some of the most extreme applications in the world. What sets this 240DC chain apart from others is the solid bushing solid roller (SBR) features and a quad-staked rivet for improved side load capacity and shock load ability. Something important to note about this chain is that it still operates on standard single-strand 240 sprockets but has load characteristics of a double-strand chain.
