Pan Conveyor Chain Roller Types
Pan Conveyor Chain Styles
Below are some of the standard styles of pan conveyor chains. Additional styles and configurations are also available.
Outboard Roller Style:
The outboard roller style of pan conveyor chain is where the rollers are placed on the outsides of the pans. This chain style utilizes under-carry chain which runs on sprockets, while the outboard rollers run in troughs and or sprocket systems of their own to assist with the carrying process.
Inboard Roller Style:
The inboard style configuration does not utilize under-carry chain, but it essentially pans that are fastened between two parallel strands of a chain making a one-piece configuration.

Pan Conveyor Base Chains
When it comes to a base chain on pan elevators and conveyors we realize that they are in some of the most demanding applications on the planet. The base chains we supply are made with premium materials and specific heat-treats to stand up to the demanding applications. The simple design incorporates a K-style built-in attachment and a free rotating pin which allows for wear to take place on the full diameter thus increasing wear life, and reduces pitch extension.
Pan Conveyor Side Mount Chains
The G type attachment allows for mounting of deep-bucket pans. These high-strength chains are made with premium materials and heat-treated precision components for elongated working life and durability.

The G attachment makes it possible to assemble the deep-bucket pans and is typically located on every pin-link (outside link) on the chain.
