Max Type Ball Bearings
Max type deep groove ball bearings are currently only available in M6200 and M6300 series and are dimensionally equivalent to the standard deep groove 6200 and 6300 series ball bearings. However, Max type bearings allow for additional balls inside a bearing through the use of a filling notch on the bearing's inner and outer ring. This bearing style offers additional radial load capacity over a standard Conrad style ball-bearing due to the increased ball count. However, due to this filling notch's presence, the bearing's axial (thrust) capacity is diminished. These bearings can be used in applications where heavy radial loads are present or in applications with radial and axial loads, given the axial load is minimal. Their use is not recommended in applications where only axial loads exist.
These bearings are also manufactured to ABEC 3 precision standards for superb performance and longevity.
